During ACE18 in Las Vegas, SNWA Engineering Project Manager Erika Moonin and Ted Davis, Principal Program Manager, CH2M Hill/Jacobs, will discuss the overall Intake No. 3 project.

Severe drought along the Colorado River Basin caused declining water levels in Lake Mead and prompted construction of a third deep water intake in order to protect the existing water system capacity against the potential of inoperability.

During ACE18 in Las Vegas, SNWA Engineering Project Manager Erika Moonin and Ted Davis, Principal Program Manager, CH2M Hill/Jacobs, will discuss the overall Intake No. 3 project, including its drivers, the test pump program, innovations implemented on the world's highest pressure tunnel, and the unique challenges of the Low Lake Level Pumping Stations currently under construction.
