Duke’s Root Control, Inc. acquires Hydrostructures

Nov. 4, 2021
Duke's has stated that it will retain all the Hydrostructures staff at their original locations in N.C., S.C. and Va.

Yesterday, Duke’s Root Control Inc., a national sewer service provider, yesterday announced that it had acquired Hydrostructures, P.A., a regional sewer service provider in the Mid-Atlantic region with offices in N.C., S.C. and Va.

This acquisition will expand Duke’s service offerings, adding new capabilities and broadening its regional presence.

“The acquisition of Hydrostructures accelerates the Duke’s 360 smart wastewater strategy,” said Duke’s President & CEO Matt Fishbune. “We continue to focus on becoming digital integrators, leveraging data and turning it into actionable information.”

The entire Hydrostructures staff was retained in this acquisition and will continue to operate out of its original offices, with additional support coming from Duke’s headquarters in Ill. and satellite locations across the country.

“Hydrostructures’ field services and engineering capabilities will complement Duke’s existing service offerings and fit strategically within the company’s plans for long-term growth,” said Hydrostructures President Michael Koonce. “The combination of the two firms results in a stronger business, and we are excited to be part of the team to continue positioning Duke’s for the future.”
