BUFFALO GROVE, IL, March 22, 2005 -- Early this month, The Dow Chemical Company announced a price increase for the following branded biocide products in the U.S. and Canada.
Effective April 1, it will increase the list and off-list prices on the following products by 10%:
-- DOWICIDE 1/1E
-- DOWICIDE A
-- DOWICIDE 25L
"Significant supply pressures in the marketplace drive the need for a price increase to position the molecule for continued re-investment," said Gerald Konst, global marketing manager for Building Materials, Adhesives and HI&I markets. "We must act now to be positioned to supply the markets continued increasing demands for the molecule."
