WHEATON, IL, Jan. 15, 2007 -- RJN Group Inc. recently entered into a contract with the city of Evanston, IL, to provide engineering services for various water main, sewer, and street improvement projects.
The projects include:
• Replacement of the existing 2,300-foot, 12-inch water main followed by street resurfacing on Custer Avenue between Main Street and South Boulevard
• Placement of the existing 450-foot, 10-inch water main followed by street resurfacing on Clark Street between Ridge Avenue and Oak Avenue
• Replacement of the existing 575-foot, 10-inch water main followed by street resurfacing on Oak Avenue between Clark Street and Church Street
• Replacement of the existing 380-foot, 8-inch water main and installation of a 500-foot, 24-inch relief sewer followed by street resurfacing on Greenwood Street between Ridge Avenue and Oak Avenue
• Replacement of the existing 400-foot, 8-inch water main on Stewart Avenue between Jenks Street and Hartzell Street followed by street resurfacing on Stewart Avenue between Walnut Street and Livingston Street (approximately 900 feet)
• Replacement of the existing 500-foot, 8-inch water main on Jenks Street between Stewart Avenue and Prairie Avenue followed by street resurfacing on Jenks Street between Stewart Avenue and Green Bay Road Design engineering services began in 2006 with construction scheduled for the 2007 construction season.
