Strategic Diagnostics hires marketing VP and human resources, quality directors
NEWARK, DE, Dec. 1, 2004 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Strategic Diagnostics Inc., a leading provider of antibody products and analytical test kits for the food safety and water quality markets, announced that Richard Rumble has joined the company as vice president of marketing.

Rumble spent 14 years with 3M, where he advanced through a series of marketing and general management positions of increasing responsibility. Immediately prior to joining SDI, he was with Steris Corp., most recently as the vice president and general manager of its Healthcare Sterile Processing Business.

He's a graduate of the University of Western Ontario with bachelor's degrees in biology, immunology and microbiology.

SDI also hired Peggy Royer-Parisi as human resources director and Mark Wood as quality director.

Sterilox Technologies appoints Bosch as head of company
RADNOR, PA, Nov. 22, 2004 (PRNewswire) -- Sterilox Technologies Inc.'s board of directors has elected Gregory T. Bosch as president and CEO effective Nov. 1, 2004.

Prior to joining Sterilox, Bosch, 41, held a variety of management and leadership positions with Baxter International during his 19-year tenure there. Most recently, he was Vice President and General Manager of Baxter's BioSurgery division, where he led it to become one of the largest biomaterials businesses globally. He has extensive background in the healthcare and laboratory science markets, and brings significant experience in strategic alliances, business development, and international business with assignments in both Austria and Switzerland while with Baxter. He received his bachelor's degree from Duke University and his MBA from DePaul University.

David Anderson, Sterilox's president and CEO for the last four and a half years, stepped down from the board at the end of October.

Doug Pertz named director of Nalco Holding Company
NAPERVILLE, IL, Nov. 16, 2004 --(BUSINESS WIRE) -- Nalco Holding Company added Douglas A. Pertz to its board of directors, serving on the board's audit committee. His appointment brings the board to a total of eight members.

Pertz was chairman and CEO of IMC Global Inc. from October 2000 until IMC's merger with Cargill Crop Nutrition in October 2004 to form The Mosaic Company. Before that, he was president and CEO of IMC Global Inc. from October 1999 to October 2000, after holding the position of president and COO from October 1998 to October 1999.

Earth Tech appoints three new vice presidents to pursue infrastructure options

She will be located in Earth Tech's Alexandra, Va., office. -- Joe Cazares will be responsible for business development of large transportation projects nationwide, including public/private programs, and design/build projects. He will be located in Earth Tech's San Diego, Calif., office. Cazares has experience in the design and construction of billion-dollar public facility and infrastructure projects. He specializes in program management assignments with complex schedules, contracts and project phases.
-- Lou Tortora, Jr. will be responsible for global sales and marketing for Earth Tech's water, wastewater and water resources projects. He will be located in Earth Tech's Milwaukee, Wis., office. Prior to joining Earth Tech, Tortora served as a senior vice president for Camp Dresser & McKee Inc.

The new executives report to Vladimir Khazak, Earth Tech's executive vice president responsible for major projects.
