Continuous Wastewater Monitoring

Sept. 1, 2018
YSI’s SensorNet system of sensors is designed to continuously monitor the wastewater process to help reduce operating costs and improve process efficiency.

YSI has announced the release of two new analyzers for wastewater process monitoring and control. The new analyzers are part of the YSI IQ SensorNet system of sensors, which is designed to continuously monitor the wastewater process. IQ SensorNet’s full suite of parameters provides a total solution for monitoring throughout the municipal wastewater process — from the influent to the effluent.

The two new IQ Analyzers include one for orthophosphate to help control and verify phosphorus removal and the second for ammonium analysis. The ammonium analyzer utilizes an approved method and can be used for permit compliance reporting. The new IQ Analyzers are available as single or dual channel and feature a revolutionary mixing valve that significantly reduces reagent consumption and maintenance requirements — lowering the overall cost of reliable data.

The YSI IQ SensorNet system of sensors is designed to continuously monitor the wastewater process.

Additionally, YSI is launching updated MultiLab benchtop instruments for BOD, pH and ISEs that feature wireless sensor technology. Wireless sensors for pH, ORP and conductivity are available — providing you freedom from cable connections.

YSI, a Xylem brand, is a leading provider of continuous monitoring instruments that help reduce operating costs and improve process efficiency at municipal wastewater treatment facilities. WW
