Geomatrix expands services to Montana

Geomatrix Consultants announces two new office locations, and retention of new environmental experts...

HELENA & MISSOULA, MT, June 1, 2005 -- Geomatrix Consultants Inc. recently opened offices in Helena and Missoula and added several new experts, retaining Myles Grotbo as senior hydrogeologist and manager. He's joined by senior staff Terry Grotbo, Doug Rogness, K. Bill Clark, Chris Cerquone, and Campbell (Cam) Stringer.

"We are excited to join a highly respected firm to help expand its capabilities in serving clients in Montana, nationally, and internationally," Myles Grotbo said. He added, "I feel very fortunate to continue to work with these experts in a new environment under the wing of a very competent and professional organization, geared toward providing superior service." The new Montana offices will expand Geomatrix's capabilities in natural resources planning, NEPA, water resources, and brownfields.

Myles Grotbo, a senior hydrogeologist in the Helena office, has over 25 years of experience in environmental consulting with an emphasis in managing large NEPA, CERCLA, and RCRA projects. Terry Grotbo, a senior geologist also in Helena, has over 25 years of experience throughout the United States and overseas preparing EISs, EAs, Resource Management Plans (RMPs), and mine reclamation plans and permits. Rogness, a senior hydrogeologist in Helena, brings 25 years of experience in hydrologic studies, EISs, EAs, and remediation projects. Clark, a senior hydrogeologist in Missoula, has over 18 years of environmental consulting experience, including preparing water resources studies and in development, design, construction, and monitoring of remedial actions. Cerquone, a senior scientist in Missoula, has 17 years of diverse environmental consulting experience, including managing brownfield projects, hydrogeologic investigations, and Phase I, II, and III environmental site assessments. Campbell, a senior hydrogeologist in Missoula, has over 15 years of environmental project management specializing in groundwater modeling at CERCLA sites for municipal water supply exploration, development, and predicting contaminant fate and transport.
