MILWAUKEE, WI, May 31, 2005 -- Danfoss Water & Wastewater, a division of Danfoss Inc., has sold its Analytical Business Division to Danaher. Affected products include all Evita-branded products, as well as INSITU-PROTM service packages, USC universal signal controllers and all related analytical product options and accessories.

Danfoss Analytical garnered international attention with an innovative line of products for the measurement of oxygen and nutrition salts in wastewater. "Danfoss has sold its analytical tools to concentrate on our core area expertise, namely variable frequency drives, motor controls, soft starters and related products," says John Masters, sales director at Danfoss Water & Wastewater. The sale will allow Danfoss to focus particularly on the expanded range of drives solutions available for water and wastewater applications.

Danfoss drives are now available up to 600 HP with a greatly reduced footprint. Advanced Harmonic Solutions address IEEE 519-1992 guidelines and significantly reduce harmonics. The upcoming release of the next generation FC 200 Series drives promise an even greater variety of options and features for the water and wastewater markets. Danfoss Water & Wastewater also offers pressure switches and transmitters, as well as temperature sensors.

Danfoss will be exhibiting their drive offerings at this year's AWWA and WEFTEC expositions, as well as a number of local shows. Danfoss Water & Wastewater will continue their aggressive sales and marketing of Danfoss Drives and other products, working with their existing Rep organizations and Distributors, in providing high quality products to the marketplace.
