WASHINGTON, DC, March 26, 2015 -- Next month, a diverse group of major U.S. water sector organizations will come together and join forces in Washington, D.C., to support Water Week 2015.

Taking place April 12-18, the 2nd annual event will convene hundreds of water and wastewater industry leaders to meet with members of Congress and federal regulators; discuss key legislative, regulatory and legal water developments; showcase innovations and new technologies; and celebrate the progress of experts in addressing the nation's water challenges.

Accordingly, Water Week 2015 will provide a platform at the nation's capital for these industry experts to advocate for national policies that advance clean and safe waters in support of a healthy, sustainable environment.

The event is designed to inform and inspire local, state and national leaders and communicate the considerable value that the water sector brings to environmental protection, economic development and job creation.

Water Week is organized by the National Association of Clean Water Agencies, Water Environment Federation, Water Environment Research Foundation, and WateReuse Research Foundation, with support from national, state and regional water organizations.
