EPA's Water Security Division contracts with CSC for mission support services

FALLS CHURCH, VA, Jan. 26, 2011 -- CSC (NYSE:CSC) announced today that the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) awarded the company a contract to continue providing comprehensive mission support services for the Water Security Division (WSD) within its Office of Water. The contract, which was awarded during CSC's fiscal 2011 third quarter, has an eight-month base period and four 12-month options and an estimated total value of $100 million.

CSC has supported the office's mission since its inception. Under the terms of the agreement, CSC will continue to provide comprehensive scientific, engineering, emergency management, risk assessment, training and regulation development support to WSD. This work will help WSD's mission to secure the nation's water infrastructure, including addressing the climate change risks to drinking water and wastewater infrastructure.
