• Industry veteran returns to company to oversee expanding global environmental consulting and engineering practices
LONG BEACH, CA, July 12, 2007 -- Earth Tech Inc., a business unit of Tyco International Ltd., and a global provider of consulting, engineering and construction services, has appointed Dale Sands as Senior Vice President and Director of Environmental Services within its Global Consulting & Engineering Division.
"In this newly created position, Dale will be responsible for several key activities that will support and expand Earth Tech's environmental business," said Bill Webb, Executive Vice President, of Earth Tech's Global Consulting & Engineering Division. "His experience and industry perspective will be a great asset as we continue to grow our global environmental consulting and engineering practices."
For the past 30 years, Dale has developed a successful track record in corporate and consulting company roles. Most recently, he was the Director, Strategic Services, and Director of Client Development for the Energy, Chemical and Industrial Systems Business Group in the Industrial Client Group at CH2M HILL and prior to that he was with Environmental Resources Management. Previously, Dale spent 10 years with Earth Tech (and a predecessor company) in various roles, including managing the company's European operations and one of the U.S. regions.
