Henderson, P.E., will speak at the 2007 World Environmental & Water Resources Congress to be held at the Tampa Marriott Waterside in Tampa, Fla., May 15-19.
Henderson, who was selected as the 2006 Young Engineer of the Year by the Greater Houston Chapter of the Texas Society of Professional Engineers, is among a select panel of speakers who will be presenting at the conference. Her presentation titled, "What's the Water Demand and Where Does it Go?" will discuss the methodology and tools used to develop and project water demand requirements of the West Harris County Regional Water Authority, which is located on the western city limits of Houston.

Hosted by the Environmental & Water Resources Institute of the American Society of Civil Engineers, the 2007 World Environmental & Water Resource Congress will focus on habitat restoration and will address national and international watershed, wetlands and stream restoration issues and practices. Other areas of emphasis include water distribution system and analysis, climate change, storm water, wastewater, environmental engineering and public health, and water resource planning and management.
