PLEASANT HILL, CA, July 27, 2004 (BUSINESS WIRE) Applied Process Technology Inc. has appointed Douglas A. Liddie as its COO.
With over 20 years of experience, Liddie holds a bachelor's degree in environmental engineering from Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo and an MBA from Santa Clara University. Before joining Applied, Liddie founded Environmental Navigator Inc., an environmental management consulting firm. He also was president of The Gauntlett Group LLC, a global environmental management and cost-accounting consulting firm; vice president of EMCOM, an environmental engineering company based in Silicon Valley; CFO of EMCON Associates; and a board member of Columbia Analytical Services.
Applied Process Technology provides technically superior pump-and-treat and in-situ water treatment solutions and services to the drinking water, environmental remediation and industrial process water markets. It specializes in treatment technologies that don't generate by-products or waste streams. Its first two product lines, HiPOx and PulseOx, are based on advanced oxidation and chemical oxidation processes that destroy a wide variety of contaminants including 1,4-dioxane, MTBE, and TBA. Other technologies it has access to treat a variety of contaminants including perchlorate.
