Ovivo Creates a Technology Advisory Committee to Support Its Growth Strategy

Montreal, Canada, October 27, 2015- Ovivo Inc. (“Ovivo”) is pleased to announce the creation of a Technology Advisory Committee (the “Committee”), composed of three independent internationally renowned water industry experts. Their mandate will mainly be focused on advising and supporting senior management and the Board of Directors on Ovivo’s technology strategy, its deployment and its future investments as part of the growth plan. The committee will bring new ideas and external opinions on emerging technologies and trends that could benefit Ovivo and its clients.

The Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago is seeking a visionary Executive Director. The members of Committee are all experts in their own field and they represent Ovivo’s major markets:

Glen Daigger is currently Professor of Engineering Practice at the University of Michigan and President and Founder of One Water Solutions, LLC, a water engineering and innovation firm. He previously served as Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for CH2M HILL where he was employed for 35 years, as well as Professor and Chair of Environmental Systems Engineering at Clemson University. He is the author or co-author of more than 100 technical papers, four books, and several technical manuals.

John DeGenova has over 30 years of experience in the semiconductor industry. He is the president of DeGenova Engineering Group, providing consulting services in ultrapure water and wastewater treatment, airborne molecular contamination, and troubleshooting of semiconductor processing yield issues.  Previously, he was employed by Texas Instruments Inc. as a Distinguished Member of the Technical Staff.   He has numerous publications in the area of water and wastewater recycling.

Tom Pankratz is an independent consultant and the editor of GWI’s weekly Water Desalination Report. He has over 35 years of experience in the water industry and has served as an expert advisor in some of the world’s largest and most technically advanced desalination projects. He is a former vice president of CH2M Hill, and was the director of corporate projects for USFilter/Veolia Water.
