• Karl Michael Millauer joins Aquatech
CANONSBURG, PA, March 11, 2010 -- Aquatech is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Karl Michael Millauer to the Aquatech Team as Senior Vice-President. Dr. Millauer is one of the top executives in the Water Industry and has extensive experience in management, strategy and the financial markets. Karl Michael will focus on overseeing Aquatech's growth in Europe and Africa as well as play a leadership role in business development and technology acquisitions and alliances.
With Aquatech's vast water technology portfolio, Karl Michael will research the water market for opportunities to continually strengthen the technology portfolio and access to target markets for Aquatech. A part of his strategy will include establishing strategic alliances with companies in certain key market segments. Karl Michael will also be engaged in ongoing development of Aquatech's Outsourcing (BOO) Strategy, strengthening this important delivery platform for Aquatech technologies and delivering increased recurring revenues.
Karl Michael was the former CEO of Christ Water Technology Group, which he left in 2008. Having worked at Christ for more than seven years and being on the BWT Board for 5 years, Millauer says, "I expect to bring a lot of value to the Aquatech group in my role."
