Infiltrator Systems Purchased by Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan Company Renamed Infiltrator Water Technologies LLC

Old Saybrook, CT (May 28, 2015)-  Infiltrator Systems, Inc. announces the sale of the company to Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan (Teachers’) and the renaming of the company to Infiltrator Water Technologies, LLC. Based in Old Saybrook, Connecticut, Infiltrator offers a total approach to onsite water quality and is the largest provider of innovative technologies in the septic and stormwater retention/detention industries. Private equity firm Graham Partners, Inc. had owned Infiltrator Systems since 2005.

“Infiltrator is excited about this opportunity for continued growth and diversification,” said Infiltrator President and CEO, Roy Moore. “The updated name helps to better define and communicate the company’s strategy to provide innovative products to effectively manage all forms of water.”

Infiltrator manufactures and sells multiple product lines that meet stringent environmental and regulatory requirements for decentralized wastewater and water systems. The Infiltrator team built the world’s largest injection molding machine in-house which produces the largest injection molded part in the world. Through its subsidiary Champion Polymer Recycling, Infiltrator is a leader in the use of “green materials” including post-consumer and post-industrial recycled plastics for the manufacture of products at their ISO-9001 registered manufacturing facility in Winchester, Kentucky. The company holds 74 active and pending patents.

The Infiltrator family of products includes Quick4® and Arc® leachfield chamber brands, EZflow® by Infiltrator engineered geosynthetic aggregate, IM-Series injection molded tanks for septic, rainwater harvesting, and potable water applications, EZset™ risers, ATL™ by Infiltrator, and the Aquaworx® IPC Controller. Infiltrator also manufactures StormTech chambers for stormwater detention and retention applications.

The Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan manages CAD$154.5 billion in net assets as of December 31, 2014. Teachers’ is the largest single-profession pension plan in Canada.
