SACRAMENTO – On Tuesday, August 16, the State Water Resources Control Board will hear an update on the Emergency Urban Water Conservation Regulation Self-Certification “Stress Test” process that will explain urban water suppliers’ new self-certified conservation standards. After hearing the item at the Board Meeting the State Water Board will host a telephone media conference for accredited media only to discuss the “Stress Test” numbers provided by urban water suppliers. When: 12:30 p.m. PST, Tuesday, Aug. 16.
Where: Call 1 (888) 254-2817 and ask for the 3-Year Stress Test Media Update phone event. The operator will ask for name and media affiliation.
The State Water Board will make an opening statement regarding the “stress test” data. During the question-and-answer session following the statement, media may ask one initial question with one follow-up. If time allows, reporters may get back in the queue for additional questions.
