Stormwater control

Blow-by prevention
The Enviroprime® system from Thompson Pump is designed to prevent blow-by of sewage, debris and chemicals in the company's dry prime, compressor-assisted pumps in both the multi-purpose trash pump (HTC) and the wet prime open trash sewage pump (TSC). Bin activator
The Metalfab bin activator is a device that is driven by a vibrator with eccentric weights, that mounts to new or existing hoppers by a series of solid steel hanger arms with rubber isolators. Internally there are two cone shape baffles, one a primary and larger baffle, the other a secondary and smaller one. When the unit is vibrated, the primary baffle transmits vibrations into the product in the bin inducing the particles to respond to gravity. As the material approaches the outlet, compaction commonly takes place and this is when the secondary baffle influences the material and allows it to flow freely from the bin.

Wastewater analyzer
FCI Environmental introduces its CMS-4000 Continuous Monitoring System to monitor wastewater for TPH analysis. Using its patented Fiber Optic Chemical Sensor (FOCS®) technology, the CMS-4000 provides trend data and control capability through a 4-20 mA output, as well as being compatible with most commercial SCADA systems. Metering injector

Overload clutch
Autogard, a torque overload clutch manufacture, has introduced its new Series 320 Torque Limiter line.
