Flowmeter without metals in the fluid path

There are no metals in the fluid path of F-461 Series inline Variable Area Flowmeters from Blue-White, making these units well suited for use in many ultrapure applications. Constructed of tough, chemical-resistant polysulfone, F-461 flowmeters offer better resistance to high temperatures, pressures and a broad base of harsh chemicals than many plastic flowmeters on the market. The high-capacity F-461 utilizes precisely engineered ridges molded into the meter body, which guide PTFE floats. Calibration range is 1 to 35 GPM (4 to 130 LPM) and permanent direct-reading scales are easy to read. The full-scale accuracy is +/- 2.5%.

Electromagnetic bidirectional flowmeter

The Proline Promag L 400 Electromagnetic bidirectional flowmeter operates independent of pressure, density, temperature and viscosity for applications in the water and wastewater industry. Available in AWWA-compliant sizes up to 90 inches in diameter, the Promag L 400 measures flows up to 907 MGD. The transmitter housing is available in compact or remote styles constructed of polycarbonate or aluminum. Output options include 4-20 mA HART, EtherNet/IP, Modbus and Profibus DP for volume flow, flow velocity, conductivity and temperature.

Multiprobe monitor

In-Situ launches the new Aqua TROLL® 500, a cost-effective multiprobe ideal for both spot checks and long-term monitoring. This wireless-enabled instrument streamlines data collection, saving hours in the field while delivering more reliable data. Auto-configuration and fast sensor response speed up sampling, while automated data collection eliminates the need to record data in field logs. In-Situ’s VuSitu Mobile App records data directly from the probe to your mobile device when using the instrument as a handheld. For long-term monitoring, the HydroVu platform provides 24/7 online data access.

Ultrasonic sensor

The Greyline DFM 5.1 is designed for “difficult liquids” that would damage regular flow meters such as wastewater, slurries, sludge, chemicals, viscous liquids and abrasives. There is no obstruction to flow and no pressure drop because the device measures flow from outside a pipe. The non-intrusive, clamp-on ultrasonic sensor fits any pipe 1/2” (12.5 mm) inside diameter or larger. The electronics/display enclosure can be mounted nearby. The DFM 5.1 includes a new digital signal processor to filter background noise and interference, and to measure flow rates accurately in liquids containing gas bubbles or solids particles.

Liquid level measurement

VEGAPULS 64 accurately detects the liquid level, even in applications with high condensation. The antenna system is encapsulated in PTFE or PEEK, so there are no cavities or crevices in which product can accumulate. The surface of the material is very finely processed with diamond tools, which also considerably reduces product adhesion. In addition, special software algorithms filter out interference caused by buildup on the antenna system. Thanks to the high dynamic range of the sensor, signal attenuation caused by product deposits is largely compensated. This allows the level to be reliably detected even with contamination on the sensor.

Vibration monitor

The DATAWATCH IX vibration monitor recording device features a striking graphical VGA display, and four or eight universal inputs for data display and recording. Designed for 4-20 mA vibration transmitter inputs. The 88 mm (3.5 in) display offers crystal clear visualization of vibration and process parameters with a wide selection of configurable views to best suit the application. Can be ordered mounted within a NEMA 4X enclosure that has been pre-wired and configured for your convenience.
