Coal tar epoxies
The Denso® North America line of self-priming, spray-applied coal tar epoxies and a coal tar epoxy alternative is used for the long-term protection of steel and concrete substrates against water, wastewater, seawater, alkaline water and acidic water corrosion. These high-build, two-part epoxies are designed to work in conjunction with cathodic protection to prevent corrosion of steel piles, sheet piles, lock gates, reservoirs, non-potable water pipelines, treatment/storage tanks, bridges and other aggressive applications.

No-contact coupling
Ford Meter Box’s No-Contact Lead-Pak Coupling (patent pending) is designed for connecting existing lead plumbing lines to other service line materials. The coupling prevents direct contact of the lead plumbing line with other metallic water system components. This design mitigates the possibility of galvanic corrosion.

Granular activated carbon
Cabot Corporation’s HYDRODARCO® 4000 and NORIT® GAC 400 are granular activated carbons (GAC) for the removal of poly- and perfluoroalkyl substances (PFAs) including perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) and perfluorooctane sulfonate (PFOS) in public water systems. Unlike other types of activated carbon, these have optimized pore size distributions that provide a large quantity of adsorption sites for PFOA and PFOS removal. These products resist interference from natural organic matter that can cause partial or complete blockage of the activated carbon pore structure, leading to reduced adsorptive capacity for target contaminants including PFOA and PFOS.

Super-fine screen
The OR-TEC Blue Whale Micro Bar Screen effectively screens to 2.0 mm to remove approximately three times the volume of rags, wipes, hair and other stringy material in wastewater, thereby eliminating downstream matting. It is self-cleaning, requires zero wash water or brushes and is guaranteed not to blind. The Micro Bar Screen uses a parallel array of wedge-sectioned bars (not wedge-wire) with even spaces to form the screen face. Wedge-sectioned screen bars have only 2 contact points on which material can block, as the path from the screen face to the back of the screen is gradually enlarged.
