Power drive adapters
Reed offers two new power drive adapters to add power to drilling, tapping, or threading jobs. The adapters require Reed's 700PD power drive to do the work. The TMPDA fits the 13/16'' boring bar that is common on popular drilling and tapping machines. By tightening down the set screws, the adapter may also be used on 13/16'' boring bars to power tapping/drilling machines.

Metering injector fittings
Blue-White has modified both the A-014HD and C-395HD injection fittings, which are shipped with the company's standard Chem-Feed® and Flexflo® metering injectors. The fittings now have 25% increased wall thickness at the o-ring groove area, which improves the overall strength of the part. Polypropylene units are now reinforced with 10% glass fiber, further increasing part strength. Wrench flats have been added to the 1/4'' through 1/2'' MPT fittings to facilitate installation.

Arsenic removal
GFH™ Media Systems, offered by USFilter, remove arsenic and other heavy metals from raw water supplies — usually without pre-oxidation. The simple process is ideal for small installations and wellhead applications. For maximum effectiveness, the raw water should be free of suspended materials and precipitated iron and manganese. Wastewater filtration
USFilter Kruger Products Hydrotech Discfilter features multiple discs designed for polishing of wastewater effluents. During normal operation the water to be treated flows by gravity into the filter segments from the center feed drum. Solids are separated from the water by the filter panels mounted on two sides of the disc segments. The solids are retained within the filter discs while the clean water flows to the outside of the disc into the collection tank.

Pressure data loggers
Dickson has added stainless steel pressure data loggers, models PR100, PR300 and PR500, to its current line of instrumentation. The loggers feature a waterproof stainless steel case, which can monitor pressure ranges from up to 0 to 500 psi and can operate in temperature ranges from -40 to 185°F. The data loggers feature a 5-year battery life and can record almost 8,000 samples. They can be to measure and document liquid, gas, and air pressure. These loggers are ideal for investigating pressure complaints, checking for system leaks and recording pressure in compliance to regulations or quality programs.

Caterpillar has introduced the new Cat G3500 Series natural-gas-fueled generator sets, designed to deliver electricity at the lowest cost per kilowatt-hour in extended-duty distributed generation service, in both island mode and grid parallel operations. Self cleaning filters
Reclaim Filters and Systems offers self-cleaning filter systems with ratings down to 25 microns. The filters feature stainless steel frames and filter housings. They use a permanent stainless steel filter element that is automatically backwashed using a small burst of compressed air to blow out the dirt and debris from the filter element. Preprogrammed cleaning keeps the filter permeable and prevents clogging.

Filter presses
The Filtration Division of Netzsch has introduced a new series of Filter Presses, the WP Series. The series is available in plate and frame, recessed chamber or membrane configurations. Pressure transducers
Setra Systems has introduces its new Model 524 strain gauge slimline pressure transducer, which is immersible to 656 ft. and rated for NEMA 6/IP68 operation. Its custom hermetic header is triple-sealed and guaranteed to eliminate the potential for water intrusion in the transducer, even if the cable sheath is damaged. The transducer has a 3/4 " diameter footprint. All wetted parts are constructed of corrosion-resistant 316 stainless steel, polyurethane and acetal, which makes the sensor resistant to the effects of condensation caused by a high humidity environment.

Metering pump
Walchem has introduced the EZ-Timer Metering Pump, the latest addition to its E Class pump line. The new pump integrates the company's EZB Metering Pump technology with a programmable timer. Timed feed control can be programmed in daily or weekly cycles. The weekly schedules can be programmed in either 1 or 2-week cycles with a daily on-time. Fabric media
