Professionals in the water industry will gather in San Antonio, TX, June 11-15 to explore the most pressing water issues, experience cutting-edge water industry technology and take part in opportunities for professional development at the American Water Works Association’s 125th Annual Conference and Exposition (ACE).
The conference will also celebrate AWWA’s 125th anniversary and 125 years of Safe Water.
The five-day conference, at Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, will feature a professional program with more than 100 sessions and 21 in-depth Sunday Workshops, with more than 1,000 experts covering the hot topics in the water industry, including engineering and construction, water resources management, conservation and reuse, distribution, legislative, regulatory, and public affairs, and emerging issues.
ACE06 attendees will have the opportunity to earn contact hours for the Distribution & Plant Operations, Small Systems & Water Quality tracks, most Sunday Workshops and facility tours.
At the ACE06 Exhibition, more than 500 exhibitors will demonstrate the latest technology, products and services for the water profession. The New Product Technology Showcase will once again feature the most exciting and innovative new products and technologies available.
The conference will feature several events for the increasing international audience, including the U.S. Department of Commerce’s International Buyer Program (IBP), which encourages the export of US-made products by matching international buyers with domestic firms. Opportunities for students and young professionals will include the ACE06 Career Fair and Young Professionals Reception.
