Products & Services: Management Software, Systems
Collection of management software & systems related equipment products and services.
Network modeling software
InfoWorks WS Pro from Innovyze offers a full range of simulation capabilities, including dynamic water quality and sediment modeling, turbidity analysis, fire flow assessment, pipe criticality analysis, demand area and leakage analysis, energy use and cost calculations, and auto-calibration of networks. User Programmable Control (UPC) allows modelers to optimize water network operating regimes by changing state of control elements based on the status of sensors. These powerful modeling capabilities make it easier for users to arrive at fast, accurate solutions and enhance their productivity.
Meter testing software
The new MARS Meter Management (M3) 2016 Enterprise Software Suite is a collection of custom-designed software packages that allow customers to capture valuable meter testing data based on their individual meter testing programs. Custom reporting, extensive data exporting features, and browser-based access allow multiple departments to have the power of data analytics to improve customer service, implement operational improvements, and make informed purchasing decisions. Packages are designed to be modular and scalable. The Software Suite comprises the Core Platform Software and two optional software packages: the Advanced Connectivity Module and the Custom Test, Reporting & Export Module.
Field data collection
Smart CIP™ from IDModeling provides a lightweight, sophisticated, easy-to-use platform for utilities to connect their data, experience, and institutional knowledge to quantify and prioritize capital improvement projects to consistently measure and increase return-on-investment. Sedaru Smart CIP delivers a number of distinct advantages over traditional CIP processes, including: interactive stakeholder engagement, risk-based project identification algorithms, map-based results to illuminate recommendations, and leveraged enterprise data for holistic, dynamic prioritization of asset management projects. Standard features support easy-to-use field data collection for comprehensive day-to-day maintenance of water and wastewater assets and hydraulic simulations to predict system deficiencies.

Schneider Electric’s Aquis 7.0 improves control of water distribution networks and includes accelerated performance, faster load times, extended system log facilities, enhanced find functionality, improved user experience and collaborative engineering enhancements. Aquis reduces operation and energy costs associated with water distribution activities by providing operators with information about the forecasted behavior of their water networks - adding intelligence to water network management - helping to reduce the impact of unplanned events before they happen.
A new suite of software solutions from GE uses the Predix™ operating system to address aging infrastructure, manpower constraints, water conservation and other challenges. In collaboration with American Water and MWH Global (now part of Stantec), the software addresses pipeline health, storm and sewer management, and water plant efficiency. The company’s SaaS proof of concept digitally maps total pipeline health and provides proactive risk identification. Additional software will utilize level sensors and mapping to enable faster reactive maintenance and increased proactive maintenance to reduce overflow frequency and number. GE’s InSight™ asset performance management solution optimizes water treatment plant assets and operations.
Mobile asset management
The Itron mobile solution is a data collection and field asset management solution that allows utilities to use the Itron mobile app on the device of their choice for automated meter reading and manual data collection. Capabilities include the ability to capture photographs as a part of the meter-reading process and utilize cloud-based maps on all devices to display route and meter data. Meter readers can always be connected, which allows supervisors to manage their mobile workforce remotely and easily reassign work. Accurate data collection ensures accurate bills and satisfied customers, while audible and vibration warnings alert employees of hazards.
Smartphone-based asset management
Clevest’s latest version of its Mobile Workforce Management solution for utilities, version 5.3, includes smartphone capabilities in the company’s award-winning WorkBook mobile app, allowing Clevest to provide its software solutions on all types of devices on Windows, iOS or Android operating systems. Utility supervisors in particular will benefit from using WorkBook on smartphones to effectively manage their contractors and borrowed crews, which is essential in emergency situations. It delivers significant user interface enhancements, including special indicators and configurable order icons, saving and sharing of WorkSpace views, free text search, color-coded geofences and in-row editing of grid repeatables.
