Need that one product that combines the increased chemical resistance of an epoxy and the cure speed and flexibility of a polyurethane? Now you can unlock the best of both worlds with Raven’s new AquataFlex series. AquataFlex® 505 and AquataFlex® 506 are the next generation of high-performance protective coatings, designed to provide the maximum versatility for performance and application. The products are versatile novolac epoxy polyurethane hybrids, 100% solids, with zero VOCs. They are also NSF/ANSI 61-certified for potable water. These products deliver strong adhesion properties to properly prepared concrete, steel, aluminum, wood, composites and many other substrates.

Typical uses for AquataFlex 505 include concrete or steel water/wastewater lining, general maintenance coating in immersion conditions, geotextile fabric lining, potable water tanks, reservoirs, basins and pipes, concrete waterproofing, and are USDA FSIS acceptable. AquataFlex 505 has been specifically developed for heated, high-pressure plural component spraying equipment capable of maintaining 2,500 psi and 120°F temperatures at all times.

Applications include: concrete or steel water/wastewater lining, general maintenance coating in immersion conditions, geotextile fabric lining, potable water tanks, reservoirs, basins and pipes, concrete waterproofing, and industrial facilities.

Both products recently earned the USDA Certified Biobased product label. This certification verifies that the product or product family’s amount of renewable biobased ingredients meets or exceeds levels set by USDA. Biobased products are finished or intermediate materials comprising, in whole or in significant part, agricultural, forestry, or marine ingredients. Raven Linings is committed to developing products that support environmental sustainability.
