Industry Focus Group To Discuss Internet
The Internet has grown dramatically over the past few years, with web sites being developed by many water utilities and the suppliers and manufacturers serving the industry. The Internet also has become a tool for finding information, products and services to run a successful utility. With the advent of the Consumer Confidence Reports and interactive SCADA systems, the Internet could become even more important to the industry.
In an effort to learn more about the role the Internet plays in the lives and jobs of water and wastewater employees, WaterWorld plans to host a discussion forum focusing on Internet usage by the municipal industry.
The forum will be held the morning of June 11 in Denver. The goal is to include people with varying levels of Internet experience and skills.
