The full service-in-place TORNADO® T2 rotary lobe pump from NETZSCH is designed for the various sludge conveyances in sewage treatment plants. Removing the cover plate on the TORNADO T2 allows quick and easy access to the pump chamber. The rotors can be removed and replaced easily and quickly because they are not bolted or keyed to the shafts inside the pump head. The rotors’ geometry allows their independent removal without the need for special tools. With the full service-in-place design, the TORNADO T2 saves time and costs in sewage treatment, ensuring conveyance can continue as quickly as possible after necessary downtime.
Red Meters RM4 exact density meters provide accurate, real-time density readings of water and wastewater slurries. Built into the slurry pipeline, the abrasion-resistant RM4 utilizes a Class 2 industrial laser to analyze passing material, performing 50 readings per second with +/- 0.25% accuracy. Data is then translated by a custom-developed algorithm and displayed through an integrated Human Machine Interface (HMI), including density, percent solids, pressure, totalized mass, and more. This detailed information enables highly accurate and efficient water treatment and processing for numerous applications and industries.
The Gladiator Microwave Switch from Hawk Measurement provides a high-power, circular, polarized microwave pulse that is emitted from the sending unit to the receiving unit in a transmission chain of approximately 100 pulses per second. Used in water and wastewater treatment facilities to detect potential blockage, barrier and machine detection, and detection of sludge between two points. The G1 allows for better penetration and product build up than previous models.
