PRELOAD is a global pioneer of wire-wound prestressed concrete storage tanks, with more than 3,700 tanks completed to date. Since the first wire-wound prestressed concrete tank was constructed by Preload in the 1940s, we continue to be recognized as innovators in our industry.

In spring of 2017, PRELOAD announced the company’s inaugural Concrete Decision Award. This award celebrates the communities that are home to PRELOAD’s top tanks of the year. The Concrete Decision competition and award bring positive attention to the important role that wire-wound prestressed concrete storage tanks play in a community’s infrastructure, and showcase the impact that PRELOAD’s tank designs and construction make across the United States.

PRELOAD is proud to honor the City of Fort Worth as the 2016 winner of the Concrete Decision Award. Its 5.0 MG Caylor Road Tank was voted on by the public, and the community was honored with a $5,000 donation in its name to Water for People, an international non-profit group that works to bring safe and reliable water and sanitation services to nine different countries around the globe. The City of Fort Worth will also have its 2016 Top Tank prominently featured on the vest of The Water Buffalos, a group that hosts charitable motorcycle rallies to raise funds for various clean water projects and organizations.

The 2016 Concrete Decision Award goes to the City of Fort Worth for its 5.0 MG Caylor Road Tank.

This competition is a great opportunity to spotlight the communities across the country that PRELOAD has partnered with while providing necessary funds to communities around the world who lack safe water and sanitation.

PRELOAD is exhibiting at AWWA’s ACE17 expo in Booth 3311.
