Automatic meter reading, security systems, process control and automation technology will be the focus of the Water Tracks at DistribuTECH, set for Jan. 25-27 in San Diego, CA.

Workforce and asset management solutions, GIS systems for water/wastewater utilities, automation process control systems and the latest in metering technologies will all be on display at DistribuTech, which will be held at the San Diego Convention Center.

More than 200 exhibiting companies are expected to participate in the event, with many offering products targeting the water industry.

Along with the exhibition, the conference will also feature water-related sessions on such topics as Advances in Field Management & Communication Technologies for the Water Industry; Developing a Business Case for Automatic Meter Reading; and Optimization of Water Utility Operations Using Advanced Automation Applications.

The conference will begin with a Mega Session on Security in the Water Utility Industry, with a primary focus on the use of automation technologies for security.
