Alliance Data Systems Corp., a provider of transaction services, credit services and marketing services, has finalized implementation of a customer information system (CIS) for the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District (MSD).
Under terms of a multi-year agreement, Alliance Data is providing CIS hosting and application management services for MSD, Alliance Data's first solely wastewater utility client. MSD is a top-five wastewater utility operating eight treatment facilities with 9,000 miles of sewers.
"We are pleased to have established a relationship with MSD and believe that this CIS implementation exemplifies Alliance Data's demonstrated history of successful conversions and implementations," said Mike Beltz, president, Utility Services, Alliance Data Systems. "We are excited to be working with St. Louis and look forward to helping them improve operations and enhance their relationship with their customers."
"We are pleased with the CIS solution that Alliance Data Systems implemented for MSD, and most importantly that it was completed in just eight months — on-time and on-budget," said Jan Zimmerman, director of finance for the St. Louis MSD. "Their professionals worked closely with ours to ensure that the CIS offered highly flexible customer management services, as well as overall improved functionality and operation of the CIS application."
