Severn Trent announced that it has won a three-year flow monitoring services contract with the Rahway Valley Sewerage Authority (RVSA) in Rahway, NJ. The contract is valued at $500,000.

According to the terms of the agreement, Severn Trent will replace RVSA's sewer-flow monitors; calibrate and check them every two months; analyze the data with its Pipeline Online™ Flow Data Acquisition and Management Software™; and provide flow data reports on a monthly basis, or as needed. These flow data reports will enable RSVA to consistently and accurately bill member townships and communities.

"With our flow-monitoring services, RSVA gets a total solution - an end-to-end system that lets them accurately monitor their flows to produce sewer-usage billing reports for member townships and communities," said Bob Kerry, chief engineer of pipeline services for Severn Trent Services.
