Algae- wastewater treatment
Oldcastle Precast, a manufacturer of precast and polymer concrete products, has signed an exclusive agreement with Indianapolis based Algaewheel Technologies LLC to sell Algaewheel technology as part of its wastewater treatment systems. The system uses algae and bacteria to treat wastewater. It replaces the bacteria process step in traditional wastewater treatment. The rest of the treatment process and facility remain identical.

Polymer lining system
Sauereisen’s SewerGard 210 family of protective polymer linings is formulated to exhibit low permeability. This enhances corrosion resistance and extends the longevity of underground infrastructure such as manholes and lift stations. The lining system is available in several variations to accommodate desired thickness and methods of application.

Valve actuator control
The Rotork Pakscan P3 modular control system now offers the addition of a network card option that enables users, including control room personnel, to communicate wirelessly with the company’s valve actuators in the field. The wireless capability operates on the 2.4GHz frequency and has a line-of-site operating range of approximately 70 meters indoors and 1000 meters outdoors.

On-site disinfection system

Spill containment scale
Eagle Microsystems has introduced the new SC1000 Precision Electronic Spill Containment Scale. The scale is constructed of polyethylene, PVC and stainless steel to insure optimum performance and accuracy in a chemical feed environment. The compact design saves floor space and its low profile simplifies drum loading. The scale complies with both EPA Containment Storage Regulation 40 CFR 264.175 and Uniform Fire Code Spill Containment Regulations. It can be furnished in spill capacities up to 66 gallons by use of the 55 gallon roll-out bladder.

Gas monitor, scrubber controller
Vapex Sentinel systems deliver operational savings for wet chemistry odor-control scrubbers with significant reductions in chemical usage (up to 50 percent), and reduced scrubber maintenance by limiting the scaling effect of chemicals on the scrubber media.
