Monoflo’s Discam is the newest generation of the company’s combination grinder and screening packages designed for maceration of solids at sewage treatment inlet works and pumping stations. Capable of flows up to 70,446 gpm, the system is designed to separate up to 95% of the solids at a given aperture sizes. The system can be retrofitted into existing pumping stations or head works as well as in new facilities.

Flow monitoring
With Hach’s Data Delivery Services (DDS) utility customers never have to visit flow-monitoring sites or purchase flow meters again. Web-enabled Flo-Dar flow meters are installed and maintained by Hach for a monthly fee. Customers have unlimited 24/7 access to complete and unedited flow data via any web browser. Dry-scrubbing media
Purafil’s Environmental Systems Division (ESD) has released its newest dry-scrubbing media, Odorcarb™ Ultra, as the first activated alumina media with the ability to remove 0.30 grams of hydrogen sulfide per cubic centimeter of media. The new product replaces Odorcarb II as the primary component of Purafil ESD’s odor control applications. Similar to its predecessor, the new, improved media also contains the Media Life Indicator Pellets (patent-pending).

Velocity meter
The Sontek Argonaut-SW is a low-profile velocity meter. It comes from a long line of Doppler Velocity meters that have been in the field and laboratory for over 10 years. The bottom mounted Shallow Water (SW) unit is designed for use in shallow streams and small culverts.
