Inside drops

Pump life can be extended by preventing aerated influent from being drawn into the pumps, as this is the primary cause of cavitation. By employing a Reliner® Inside Drop users have found dramatic reductions in pump related problems as well as reduced general maintenance and odor complaints. The drop pipe should be extended below the low limit level and cut to follow the slope of the fillet. If there is no fillet, cut the pipe at 45 degrees and in all cases maintain a distance from the floor or fillet of one pipe diameter.

Directional drilling

Motor insulation testers

Meg-Alert offers the “Multi-Guard” Automatic Insulation Tester for applications up to nine motors per single installation. The system provides continuous and automatic testing of the insulation resistance of low voltage motors – up to 500 volts AC. Insulation resistance is the key measurement of motor (and generator) condition. Since over 80% of motor failures occur at startup because of winding insulation breakdown, testing the insulation resistance will detect unsafe conditions.

Curb markers

Bulk bag discharger

The Spiroflow Type 3 Bulk Bag Discharger accurately dispenses bulk ingredients and/or minor additives from 20 lb to 3,500 lb batches by using electronic load cells directly below the top bag holding frame. This assures that the bag and load cells are safely off the floor out of the way of facility hazards such as forklifts.
