AA Thread Seal’s Polywrap polyethylene encasement has been proven to be just as effective as other corrosion protection methods for ductile iron pipe at a fraction of the cost. Polywrap does not deteriorate once installed under the ground and will protect pipelines from exterior corrosion for years to come. Iwaki America has announced the latest addition to its IX Series direct-drive, digitally controlled metering pumps, the IX-D. The IX Series combines both accuracy and flexibility into an energy-efficient design. The new D150 and D300 sizes expand the IX Series to a maximum capacity of 80 GPH (300 L/h) and a pressure rating up to 150 PSI (10 bar). Enhanced control features include fully scalable analog input, adjustable maximum output, keypad batch start/stop, scalable analog output, proportional pulse output, and programmable output relays.

Festo has introduced the DSBG line of ISO-15552, large-diameter, tie-rod cylinders in sizes 160, 200, 250, and 320 mm. The cylinders are quieter, cost less and are more durable than those they replace. The DSBG-160/200 are rated for 2,700/4,200 pounds (12,000/18.8 kN) force and are ideal for heavy-duty applications such as opening gates/flaps in the water treatment industry. They come standard with an elastomer bumper or an adjustable air cushion for increased noise reduction and higher energy absorption than the previous line.

Brentwood has introduced the StormTank® Arch to provide a solution for large-footprint, subsurface stormwater management projects. The Arch offers a cost-effective means of promoting infiltration for commercial and recreational applications, in addition to maximizing developmental space. The CHEM-SCALE™ and TOTE BIN SCALE™ from Force Flow allow operators to accurately monitor chemicals such as sodium hypochlorite, polymer and fluoride when stored and fed from day tanks and IBC type totes. The Solinst TLC Meter is excellent for profiling temperature and conductivity in wells, tanks and open water. Water level and depth of readings are read off Solinst PVDF flat tape, which is precisely laser-marked every 1/100 ft or each millimeter, up to 1,000 ft (300 m). The accurate temperature and conductivity readings are displayed on a convenient rotating LCD display on the reel.
