The Kenics® KMX-V Static Mixer from Chemineer is ideal for extreme viscosity or volume ratios applications and generates superior mixing per unit length for laminar flow and high/low viscosity ratio applications. It utilizes cross-stream mixing and flow splitting to achieve very rapid blending. Each element is approximately one pipe diameter in length and consists of multiple V-shaped intersecting blades, which generate fluid layers as the mixture flows downstream. Features include standard diameters up to 24", injectors designed to optimize the process, and high volumetric flow ratios between the main stream and additive.
