GE Energy offers new Roots™ turbo blowers, which offer an innovative air-foil bearing design and efficient high speed motor technology, proven in a power range of 600kW (800 hp) down to 22.5kW (30 hp). The blowers offer an efficient aeration solution for a wastewater treatment plant. For a typical aerobic digestion wastewater treatment plant, the aeration blower accounts for 50-60 percent of the total electricity used by the facility.
