Bioscience has published a new technical FAQ data sheet for its odor-control product, Microcat®-ANL. The document describes the biochemistry of odor reduction, composition of the product, effects on downstream wastewater treatment plants, and provides a cost comparison with other odor control methods. The product is applied in wastewater treatment plants, sludge processing facilities and lagoons to control hydrogen sulfide (rotten egg) odors that often occur under anaerobic or anoxic conditions.
