MINNEAPOLIS, MN, March 22, 2005 -- The Twin Cities area will host the American Membrane Technology Association (AMTA) annual summer symposium Aug. 1-3. It will be held at the Ramada Inn Airport & Thunderbird Hotel & Convention Center in Minneapolis.
The theme of the 2005 AMTA Symposium is "Membranes as Multiple Barriers: Protecting Public Health." Sessions will focus on the following topics:
-- Back to Basics - RO/NF/MF/UF;
-- MF/UF System Operation Case Studies;
-- MF/UF Integrity Testing; NF Membranes for Potable Water Production;
-- Seawater Desalination; Zero Liquid Discharge Concentrate;
-- Membrane Distribution Systems.
