ITT Industries buys key U.S. distributor of water treatment products
WHITE PLAINS, NY, Aug. 5, 2005 -- ITT Industries Inc. has acquired the business and assets of Ellis K. Phelps & Company (Phelps) of Apopka, Florida. Phelps has long been the largest U.S. distributor of products sold under ITT's Flygt brand for the wastewater pumping and treatment market. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Solucorp chosen to supply chemicals for Italian treatment plant
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL, Aug. 8, 2005 -- Solucorp Industries has received the initial US$300,000 for the technical "know how" provided and the work done by Solucorp during the planning and construction phase of the treatment plant at the Ravenna, Ponticelle, Italy site. Additionally, the first shipment of chemicals has arrived at the port for delivery to the Ravenna, Ponticelle site Aug. 17.

SFA's defense division wins $39 mln order for Army, Marine water systems
EASTON, MD, Aug. 8, 2005 (PRNewswire) -- SFA Inc. - Defense Products Division (SFA-DPD) has received a $39 million order under an existing contract for 95 Tactical Water Purification Systems (TWPS) to be used by the U.S. Army and Marine Corps.
