FT. LAUDERDALE, FL, Jan. 13, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Solucorp Industries Ltd. signed an agreement with J&M Laboratories of Louisville, Ky., to manufacture its cost effective and highly efficacious MBS® slurry.

The agreement with J&M provides Solucorp with a reduction in the cost of manufacturing the slurry. This savings, in addition to reduced operating costs to apply the molecular bonding system (MBS) technology, adds to the overall price attractiveness of the product to the remediation marketplace.

Solucorp's MBS SITE (Superfund Innovative Technology Evaluation) proven technology permanently stabilizes heavy metal contamination in soil, sludge, slag, baghouse dust, and ash to levels significantly below regulatory limits. Its MBS slurry is a stabilization treatment for low to mid level lead contamination in soils designed to be highly attractive to remediation contractors. The development of the slurry offers a less costly remediation alternative when compared to other competitive technologies while providing permanent results and an easier application. The agreement allows J&M to market and sell this slurry to their existing clients as well as distribute it to other Solucorp clients and projects throughout the United States. This will provide Solucorp with an even greater presence in the remediation marketplace.

Companypresident Richard Runco said in making this announcement, "This is an important step for Solucorp in that J&M is a leader in the production of specialty chemical products and knows how to manufacture, market and distribute these products. The relationship will allow us to provide cost savings to our current client base and enable us to further compete in this very lucrative market."

J&M Laboratories has warehousing facilities in Utah, California and Kentucky allowing for easier distribution of the MBS slurry. By adding its capabilities to the current facility serving the New England area, Solucorp now has established a more effective production, distribution, and warehousing network.

The slurry is primarily used to treat lead contaminated wastes like those commonly found at gun ranges, lead abatement sites and smelter operations. The contaminated soil is saturated with the slurry utilizing a simple application process which requires no curing time and permanently stabilizes the lead contamination. The MBS process has already been used to successfully treat contaminated soils at the Ocean State Steel Site in East Providence R.I., the Boston Artery and various Massachusetts Highway Department projects, etc.

About Solucorp
Solucorp Industries Ltd., a Canadian corporation is parent, to three U.S. corporations including: Solucorp Industries, Integrated Fixation System Co. Inc. and WITS Inc. -- all involved in the environmental remediation industry. Its patented MBS technology can remediate and treat wastes where heavy metals are present by chemically binding those metals so that they will not leach and contaminate the groundwater. The technology has been used throughout the United States and Canada as well as the United Kingdom, Italy, China and Argentina.

Solucorp also continues to develop products and prototypes for its Integrated Fixation System (IFS) technology which can be used as a coating or additive to paint strippers, paint booth filters, batteries, ammunition, computers, switches, liners, coal fire furnaces (mercury) and a host of other products where hazardous metals come in contact. This enables manufacturers to produce products that self-remediate thereby eliminating environmental pollution at its source. WITS EC (Electrocoagulation) package remediates wastewater and other aqueous waste streams through the use of electrical currents that destabilize suspended, emulsified or dissolved contaminants.
