FORT LAUDERDALE, FL, Nov., 9, 2005 -- A new riverboat gambling casino in Worth County, Iowa, will use innovative technology from Parkson Corp. to treat its organic waste.

Diamond Jo's Casino, scheduled to open in 2006, will rely on Parkson's Geo-Reactor® system to treat domestic waste from its facilities. The system will consist of patented media housed in five foot cylindrical drums. As the drums rotate, the moving media gathers and releases oxygen into the liquid resulting in a healthier, more active biofilm.

The Geo-Reactor systems offer advanced biological processes that combine patented moving-media technology with accelerated oxygenation properties for excellent throughput. As a result, the Geo-Reactor units will be able to handle peak waste flows effectively in reducing waste matter to optimal levels for easier nitrification.

Parkson Geo-Reactor units are ideal for public facilities such as casinos. They generate minimal noise and odor and can easily be housed inside small buildings. They arrive completely assembled and ready for connection. Once started up, they require virtually no operator attention other than normal maintenance.

A Parkson Helisieve® unit will screen influent from the casino to one-quarter inch to remove solids prior to reaching the Geo-Reactor units. The efficient Helisieve systems use shaftless spiral technology to perform screening, solids conveying and dewatering in one cost-efficient operation.

The casino is owned by Diamond Jo Worth, LLC, of Dubuque, Iowa. The facility will include a 100-room hotel and will employ 300-400 people.

ACI Mechanical of Ames, Iowa, is the contractor for the project. ACI Mechanical is a contract engineering and management firm that provides mechanical construction services to commercial and industrial customers across the United States.

Parkson Corp. (www.parkson.com), an Axel Johnson Inc. company, with headquarters in Florida and offices in Illinois, Michigan, Canada and Brazil, is a leading provider of advanced process and mechanical technology for applications in municipal water and wastewater, as well as industrial process water and wastewater.
