CHATTANOOGA, TN, Sept. 30, 2005 -- AquaShield Inc. announced today that two of its stormwater treatment systems have been performance-verified by the New Jersey Corporation for Advanced Technology, a private/public partnership that provides technology innovators with the technical, commercial, and regulatory input needed to bring promising new ideas to market.
The Aqua-Swirl™ Concentrator and the Aqua-Filter™ Stormwater Filtration System were both reviewed, evaluated and can now use the notation and verification mark "NJCAT Verified" in product literature. The Aqua-Swirl Concentrator is designed to capture sediment, free oil and floatable debris from stormwater and industrial runoff.
The Aqua-Filter System removes fine sediment, nutrients, metals, and other pollutants.
"We are extremely pleased to have earned NJCAT verification of these systems," stated
AquaShield president Kelly Williamson. "NJCAT is recognized throughout our industry as a meticulous, objective source of technology verification and our ability to gain their approval is a significant landmark for our company.
