BROOMFIELD, CO, June 8, 2005 -- MWH, a global consulting firm that specializes in engineering projects for environmental, land, water, wastewater, energy and power markets, has acquired Bellevue, Wash.-based Integrated Project Solutions (iProj), a project management and software company which serves clients in a range of industries from public works to telecommunications.
The 25 former iProj employees will work out of MWH's Bellevue office, enabling MWH project teams to consolidate their schedules, coordinate tasks more effectively and manage projects more efficiently. The addition of iProj to MWH's client service portfolio will allow utility and government clients to better manage performance of capital engineering, construction, maintenance and IT projects.
"This acquisition fits in well with our strategy of providing our clients with services beyond our core engineering competencies," said Robert Uhler, president and CEO of MWH. "We are a company that not only addresses our clients' engineering needs, but also enables them to manage large projects through one source. By having access to all of these services our clients are able to finish projects on time, on budget and with a high level of quality."
"As engineering projects become more complex around the globe, it's critical that our clients are able to turn to one source for all of their project needs to ensure efficiency. We are excited about teaming up with MWH's existing clients to deliver expanded cost savings and performance improvements," added Charles Morton, president of Integrated Project Solutions.
Integrated Project Solutions provides project management products and services and has been designated by Primavera as one of five Premier Solution Providers in the world.
