LIVERMORE, CA, June 7, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Novazone, a provider of innovative ozone-based solutions to improve the freshness and safety of food and water, has appointed Philip G. Connolly as chief financial officer. Connolly will oversee the company's financial management and accounting activities, and will report to Paul White, president and CEO.
He brings a wealth of knowledge and talent to Novazone, which stems from over 20 years of finance and operations experience in fast growth companies. During his career, he held numerous senior level management positions and played key roles in business strategy, financial management and process development.

Previously, Connolly provided executive-level consulting services for managed service and software companies, such as DCI Technology Holdings and Arkivio, Inc., where he was responsible for all aspects of finance and operations. Prior to consulting, he was CFO and chief operating officer for Sanrise Inc., a managed storage solutions software company. In addition, He held senior level positions at Republic Financial Corp., Triton Container International Ltd., and Cronos Containers Inc. Earlier, he served as an infantry officer in the U.S. Army.
Connolly holds a bachelor's degree in engineering from the U.S. Military Academy, West Point, N.Y. He's based in Livermore, Calif., at the company's headquarters.
