MILWAUKEE, WI, Dec. 14, 2005 -- Terasen Utility Services and Terasen Measurement, announce the grand opening of its state-of-the-art Triple Point meter testing facility that uses patent-pending technology to test flow meters using carbon dioxide. An open house and ribbon-cutting ceremony took place at the facility in Penticton, BC, Canada, in November.

The Triple Point facility is the first to use the patent-pending technology developed and tested by Terasen Measurement staff. This testing methodology capitalizes on the physical attributes of carbon dioxide and the ability to test and calibrate meters under operating conditions and a varying flow levels, resulting in more accurate measurement in the field.
