HydroFlo promotes Britt to COO of Ultra Choice Water
RALEIGH, NC, July 14, 2005 -- HydroFlo Inc. recently appointed Deanna Britt to chief operating officer (COO) of Ultra Choice Water Inc. (UCW), its newest portfolio company.

Ultra Choice was formed in April to provide water coolers without bottles for offices and individual consumers. The company will provide the water treatment systems to commercial and residential customers for a low monthly fee. It joins other HydroFlo units Metals & Arsenic Removal Technology Inc. (MARTI) and Safety Scan Technology Inc. (SSTI).

Britt will be responsible for running the daily operations of the company, as well as manage any and all marketing and sales responsibilities to promote the company's opportunities. For the past two years, she has held the position of office manager for not only HydroFlo, but for each portfolio company. Her responsibilities have included developing and implementing new procedures to assist the organization. She managed inventory, purchasing, payroll, and company budget.

Dennis Mast, CEO of HydroFlo expressed his enthusiasm in the recent promotion decision, "In the time that Ms. Britt has been with HydroFlo we have recognized the exceptional work ethic she possesses. She has handled the immense responsibility of her current position with such professionalism that we felt more than compelled to promote her to the level in which she would be better suited. We will have quite a difficult time trying to find someone to fill her current position, but we are excited for her to take on these new responsibilities as we are sure she will do a fantastic job."

Prior to beginning her position at HydroFlo, Britt spent over nine years at Grand Well Industries Inc. (GWI) where she was the human resources and operations manager of its Holly Springs, N.C., division. At GWI, she was responsible for redefining and developing company operational procedures for individual departments.

Britt will begin her new position on Aug. 1. She explained her eagerness to start this new challenge. "I am excited for the opportunity to begin opening up the vast financing and leasing market for all MARTI products," she stated. "I believe that UCW can provide MARTI's impressive product line to our customers at a low price and facilitate national interest in MARTI water purification units."

Based in Raleigh, N.C., HydroFlo's mission is to locate, develop, and fund innovative technologies and businesses and utilize these acquisitions to make pure water available to the world by means of disinfection, purification, and removal of contaminants under the belief that water can overcome hunger, disease, poverty, and improve the overall quality of life on earth.
