WILLIAMSVILLE, NY, July 15, 2005 (PRNewswire-FirstCall) -- CVF Technologies Corp.'s holding, Biorem -- which is 32% owned by CVF -- has received a purchase order from the city of Toronto to undertake a one year pilot odor control study at Ashbridges Bay, Canada's largest wastewater treatment plant located at the foot of Leslie Street in Toronto.

The results of the CDN$100,000 [US$81,903] pilot may be used to develop engineering performance data required to design a full scale BiofiltairTM

"Depending on the scope of supply, this 2007 installation is estimated at somewhere between CDN$8-10 million [US$6.55-8.19 million]," said Brian Herner, President and CEO of Biorem. "It would set a new record in size of installation for a municipal biofilter and is consistent with the growth we are seeing in this market." Biorem previously installed a CDN$1 million [US$819,034] biofilter system at this same plant in 2001 for successful control of odor emissions from a new sludge loadout facility. Other large installations completed by Biorem include two 425,000 cubic meters per hour (250,000 cubic feet per minute) systems at meat by-product rendering plants.

Biorem (www.biorem.biz) manufactures Biosorbens a high- efficiency permanent biofilter media and is a leading supplier of biofilters for air pollution control in municipal and industrial applications including the Basys modular and Biofiltair field erected systems. With over 100 installed systems and over a decade of experience, the Corporation's groundbreaking biofilters are the technology of choice for wastewater treatment plants and pumping stations across North America.

CVF Technologies Corp. (www.cvfcorp.com), based in Williamsville, N.Y., is a technology development company, whose principal business is sourcing, funding and managing emerging pre-public technology companies with significant market potential. Founded in 1989, CVF's holdings include four companies involved primarily in environmental products/services.
