Aqua-Aerobic, METAWATER formally announce merger agreement

Aqua-Aerobic Systems and METAWATER recently announced a formal merger agreement to their employees and shareholders.

Oct. 28, 2015 -- Aqua-Aerobic Systems, Inc., an engineering company specializing in total water management solutions, and METAWATER Co. Ltd. (Tokyo, Japan), an engineering company engaged in the water and environmental business field, recently announced a formal merger agreement to their employees and shareholders.

The merger will place Aqua-Aerobic, including its subsidiary, Mecana Umwelttechnik (Reichenburg, Switzerland), under METAWATER USA INC. (MUSA), the company's U.S. subsidiary with current operations in Rutherford, N.J.

Through cooperative partnerships, Aqua-Aerobic has successfully expanded it products and services geographically into other parts of the world including Australia, China, India, and the United Kingdom.

Likewise, the METAWATER Group has expanded business both in Japan and abroad by leveraging its capability to offer services from design and construction to operation and maintenance of water and wastewater facilities.

Through this merger, MUSA will acquire additional Aqua-Aerobic resources, including additional established relationships with sales agents, consulting firms and contractors to support its growth strategy and strengthen its business through expansion into the U.S. and other markets.

The collaboration provides Aqua-Aerobic with a larger platform to expand internationally and enables it and the METAWATER Group to gain access to each company's technologies that will enhance respective product offering portfolios.
