Veolia Water won two new municipal management contracts, valued in total at (€790 million, in China. The French water company will rehabilitate and operate for 30 years a drinking water production site, including a treatment plant and wellfield, with a capacity of 515,000 m3/d, for the capital city of Inner Mongolia. A population of 2.5 million reside in Hohhot.

The second contract, signed for a period of 22 years with Weinan, involves the rehabilitation and operation of a drinking water production site, the capacity of which, after expansion, will be 160,000 m3/d. Veolia Water already produces drinking water in the city of Weinan, home to 300,000 residents and located close to Xian and Baoji.
