H2Oil & Gas wins contract for produced water treatment project in Malaysia

IRVINE, UK - H₂Oil & Gas has been awarded a contract to design and supply equipment for a produced water treatment plant in Malaysia.

For the project, which is now nearing completion, H₂Oil & Gas produced a compact skid layout to minimise the weight and footprint on an offshore module that was at a critical limit. It will treat 163.68m³ per day of produced water.

The optimised process design makes use of the existing gas in the system, eliminating the use of additional fuel gas used on standard Compact Flotation Units.

An Aquarion Group company, H₂Oil & Gas’s flagship technologies include the patented REDft^® (reduced footprint) technology, which includes ultrafiltration/microfiltration (UF/MF) membranes in the same pressure housing as reverse osmosis/nanofiltration (RO/NF) membranes.
